Verdict

BLUEBELL RIDGE, Pelham Crescent and L'Homme de Nuit are on the shortlist in this handicap and the vote is given to Bluebell Ridge. The selection is chasing the hat-trick here and she looks to be a filly on the upgrade. She won well last time when she had the worst of the draw and with this step-up in trip in her favour she can go in again. Pelham Crescent is back on a very fair mark and he ran well when third behind Hucking Heat here last time. He has to be of interest but he is unproven over this trip and on that basis we will take him on. L'Homme de Nuit is dropped back in trip having shaped with promise over 2m at Lingfield last time. He had previously run a sound race when third behind Hadron Collider at Kempton and although he has yet to get his head in front in Britain, he does look the type who will pick up his fair share of prize money. Zuwaar has the best of the draw and he has twice gone close in recent weeks so he is another who has to enter calculations. However, for the winner we will stick with Bluebell Ridge.
