Verdict

Alborz has been in good form over hurdles lately, though was behind today's rival Rapid Heat Lad at Bangor in October. He could figure from near the foot of the weights while Priors Gold has only finished out of the frame once in five starts on the all-weather but was beaten in a claimer here last time. SOHCAHTOA was returning from a break when beating Sherman McCoy by a neck over C&D earlier this month. He's only been raised 3lb and, with some improvement likely, is fancied to follow up as Mediterranean Sea looks held and usually reserves her best for the Fibresand in any case.
