      Verdict

A tough race for punters can fall to El Potro, with Katie Killane and Lady Hopeful heading the shortlist. The selection has been dropped a pound for an average effort last time out, however he has won off a mark of 58 so if reproducing some old sparkle he is definitely capable. Graham Gibbons takes the ride for just the second time, the first when beaten by just a head so it can be assumed that his trainer means business today. Katie Killane was only just caught last time out at Kempton and from her good draw today, she may try to burn these rivals off again. She is on the same mark so she is of definite interest. Lady Hopeful's trainer Peter Grayson knows the time of day with his sprinters, and she would have leading claims. However her tendency to start slowly negates her good draw today and she just isn't one to rely on. At bigger prices, Flying Tackle would have a chance although she is better on turf, whilst Beverley Beau is consistent so must enter calculations for a place. However, for the winner we return to course and distance winner El Potro.
