In depth

Verdict

This looks quite a competitive handicap and narrow preference is for RICHELIEU who can get the better of Trimlestown and To Be Or Not To Be. The selection is in really good form and he looks to be on an upward curve at present. He won with a bit in hand last time and is taken to get his head in front again. Trimlestown was the subject of strong market support before he won last time out. The cheek-pieces had a positive effect that day and if they work the oracle again then he should give the selection a race. To Be Or Not To Be is only lightly raced and he wasn't beaten far last time out. It is fair to assume there should be more to come and he has to be respected. Tom Dascombe has his string in good form so it would be no surprise to see Caprio run well. However, we will stick with Richelieu as the choice.
