Verdict

Both My Lord and Magic Stella arrive here off the back of wins but with one winning in plating class and the other in a maiden they are both difficult to assess back in this company. With that in mind the vote lands with all-weather debutant PLANET WAVES as he takes a big step down in class. The colt was last seen finishing just over three lengths when third of 15 in a class two event at Doncaster and with that effectively coming off this mark (the jockey put up 1lb overweight last time) then he should have enough to win this if taking to the surface. Geordie Iris is unexposed and broke her maiden here so should have more to offer back on the Polytrack.
