Verdict

This looks a very decent handicap to round off the card and we will take a chance on the dropped-in-class GLORIOUS DREAMS; onto the shortlist go the consistent pair of Cecily and Raimond Ridge. Joe Fanning looks an interesting jockey booking for the selection who made all the running to win on her debut here over five furlongs. She has a good draw to work from today and should find this task much easier than the Listed races she contested last season. Happy Forever was well-fancied for a recent reappearance and shaped as if she would come on for that Kempton outing, and she won on her second start last season, whilst Via Mia is a course and distance winner but the yard are yet to start firing just yet. Hillside Lad and Raimond Ridge both come here having won on their last start, and of the two the former has the more appealing profile with less runs under his belt. Cecily continues to run well in defeat but she must be frustrating to back for followers, comments that also apply to Flamsteed and Whisky Jack. The market may help provide some further clues but without that information we will take a chance on Glorious Dreams.
