MAVEN has won both starts over C&D and a hat-trick looks a distinct possibility as she's only lightly-raced and capable of further progress off a 6lb higher mark. Multiple course winner John Potts may need another run before he's scoring again as he was well beaten here on his return to action, while Ffos Las winner James Pollard failed to figure under today's amateur in a similar race in September, though he has won over hurdles since.
