Another mediocre contest, and with JOIN UP in such good recent form we will side with him to back-up a Lingfield win with further success, while Chosen Forever and Special Cuvee look the dangers. The selection was a commanding winner over a mile at the Surrey track, for which he has gone up 3lbs. He stays as far as this, and for one in this sphere he has been consistent of late, so we will side with him to gain further reward. Chosen Forever has not scored since his Doncaster debut last year. However, he showed signs that his next victory is not far away when going well here last time and he is respected. Special Cuvee is another in decent form just lately, but while he should act on the surface he might not get home over this far. Of the remainder, Rockson looks the most interesting. The Ian Williams-trained filly has been sliding in the weights, but with a good pilot up and a first-time visor that may help, the market should be checked out.
