Estate was given too much to do last time out and he may do better now ridden by Chris Catlin, however it may just be that he is too high in the weights now and so narrow preference is for Dark Parade ahead of Market Watcher. It takes a leap of faith to assume that Dark Parade will repeat his run of last time as he has developed a worrying habit of throwing in the odd stinker. However the way that he knuckled down to business last time out suggested that he is on good terms with himself and for a horse with a good strike-rate on the all-weather, he should go well. Estate was arguably given too much to do when last seen but he has been running well of late and further progress cannot be ruled out, although he may need to to defy his revised mark. Moonshine Beach stays well but is held by the selection and has a bit to do from out of the weights, whilst Champagne Shadow should appreciate the return to this trip and has place claims at least. Maslak is consistent but ultimately still a maiden, so whilst Market Watcher is one to take seriously now returned to a more suitable trip, it is Dark Parade who is taken to win again.
