Verdict

It's four years since course winner LOCHIEL last raced on the all-weather but he arrives off the back of a confidence-boosting success at Newcastle and, despite an 8lb higher mark, is still thrown in on his old form. Ian Semple's veteran should be good enough to beat modest rivals. Dubara Reef has been well beaten in all four starts since winning over course and distance in May but Eightfold may do better back on the level. Uncle Bernie is still a maiden and makes his Polytrack debut but he has shown some ability and the longer trip could play to his strengths.
