      Verdict

      KEPLER'S LAW has improved for being stepped up in trip this year and won both starts. He's 6lb higher for his win at Nottingham in June but further progress is expected for a yard with an excellent strike rate at this track. Colonel Sherman has been running well in plating company here but Windsor winner Zamina looks a bigger threat dropped in class after runs at Newbury and Ascot. Straversjoy has done all her winning over C&D and is not easily dismissed and Resplendent Ace usually goes well here, albeit over longer trips these days.
