    Verdict

The 13-year-old Will He Wish, who is holding his form well, heads the weights for this competitive handicap and has every chance of gaining a deserved success following placed efforts at Kempton in his last two starts but a better bet looks to be DAVENPORT, who gets the vote over Supercast. Nick Vaughan's gelding has been running well of late but another 1lb rise for his latest effort when behind Man Of Gwent may just make him booked for a place at best. Ahlawy won a seller over course and distance well enough last time but this is tougher and of more interest may be Mark Brisbourne's Morbick, who looks to be going the right way. Bourse should appreciate the return to the flat having disappointed in two recent starts over hurdles but it is Davenport that gets the verdict. Rod Millman's gelding has been running well on the Fibresand of late but handles the Polytrack just as well and he looks the most likely winner.
