Verdict

Atlantic Gamble won in determined fashion over course and distance just 11 days ago and is taken to continue that winning streak here, at the main expense of Keshya, Penang Cinta and Mossman Gorge. The last-named went close in a similar contest at Southwell recently, however whilst he often travels well during his races, he tends to find little for pressure when push comes to shove so for that reason we will pass him over. Penang Cinta will need the breaks if he is to record just his second win as his held up style of racing means that he can often find trouble. However he tackles this trip for the first time today so he should be involved if his stamina holds out. Keshya was too free last time out on her first drop into selling company so can be expected to do better if settling, however the race could be set-up for Atlantic Gamble to go in again. Karl Burke's gelding has a good draw from which to sit close to the pace, and a 6lb penalty for his recent win might not be enough to stop him winning this weaker race. He gets the vote to make it two wins in a row.
