In depth

Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this competitive nursery and the principals look to be The Betchworth Kid, Palm Court and Step This Way and the narrow nomination is given to The Betchworth Kid. The selection was a fair fourth in a better race behind Jack Dawkins last time out. This looks easier and if the first time visor has the desired effect he will be hard to beat. Palm Court rates the main danger on his latest second behind Bronze Cannon especially as this longer trip should bring about improvement. Step This Way won well last time out when beating Altitude but the drop in trip has to be a concern, Of the remainder Menadha has not progressed as expected but may improve for this longer trip but The Betchworth Kid looks well weighted on his best form and he gets our vote.
