Thebes gets the confident vote here with Johnny Friendly and Spinning Ridge rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time when beating Flying Sommelier in good style, he enters handicaps off what looks a fair mark and with more improvement also likely over this longer trip he will be hard to beat. Jonny Friendly rates the main danger as he beat Tiepie in good style last time out. However he will do well to defy a penalty against some less exposed sorts. Spinning Ridge is another that could go well on his best form but he may need the run after an 152 day break and his best efforts have come over a shorter trip. Of the remainder Ambrix is unexposed and could improve while Greystoke Prince has been done no favours by the draw and for the winner we return to Thebes who is taken to win this before going on to better things.
