Verdict

A 9lb rise for a win at Lingfield seemed a little harsh but ASTROSCARLET finished a decent third anyway back at the same track last time. Mark Tompkins' filly may find a bit more improvement here stepping up in distance. Solar View produced a better effort over 1m4f at Hamilton last time and there should be more to come from him and also course winner Natasha Rostova, who showed a bit more at Lingfield on her latest outing. Angelic Note gets first time blinkers and has scope for progress but Gabrial's Lexi has gone backwards since her close-up second at Lingfield back in March.
