In depth

Verdict

Shades Of Green is selected ahead of Mr Kalandi and Backstreet Lad in the finale. Neville Callaghan's charge won a race over eleven furlongs at Bath. Although officially not that well in on BHB figures, the figure of 51 will be reassessed at the end of the week and the rider's seven pound claim will negate a 6lb penalty. Mr Kalandi is a gutsy individual who should have won more races given the effort he applies in races. He has yet to convince over this trip and could be best avoided again. Backstreet Lad is in receipt of lumps of weight at the bottom of the handicap. He didn't do a lot wrong at Bath on his latest visit and was not unbacked for a second time. This is his first run on the all-weather. Trackattack is much better than his recent run at Lingfield suggests and will be suited if allowed a soft lead upfront. Shades Of Green looks to be on the upgrade and we will chance her under an inexperienced jockey in the last.
