Verdict

Libertino has yet to oblige after 22 attempts but is still asked to tote topweight. He's in really good heart at present though and handles the surface well so this could finally be his day. Avonlini is 0-23 to date and was most disappointing last time but enters the equation on two very sound sprinting efforts prior to that low-key run. However, FLYING APPLAUSE does know how to win here and confirmed his wellbeing with a solid performance on turf over seven furlongs at Doncaster last time. He's taken to revert to winning ways back on polytrack, with Radiator Rooney also deserving of a mention. He's not the easiest but is useful in this grade if everything drops right.
