    Verdict

A handful of likely improvers make this a tough one to call but the tentative vote goes to MY BOY GINGER. He posted a much better effort when finishing runner-up at Warwick on his recent return to action and should be winning before long. Bursting Bubbles and Melodrama make their seasonal returns and it will be no surprise if they prove good enough at this level, but Gabrial's Layla has a bit to find on her reappearance and stablemate Always Eager could prove a bigger threat.
