Verdict

Belahodood appeared not to handle the Fibresand at Southwell last time and fared much better when runner-up at Kempton on his earlier debut. Goathland has shown enough to suggest he can land one of these events as he steps up in trip, as does High Valley, well beaten at Yarmouth on his racecourse debut. The latter's stablemate Antiquarium and fellow newcomer Ledbury are both first foals but the German-bred SOLUBLE is out of a sister to Group 1 winner Shirocco. Marco Botti's 400,000gns colt may prove good enough on his introduction.
