Verdict

Centurius is certainly good enough if at his best on his first start since October. He makes more appeal than stablemate Shamdarley given the latter was well beaten here last month by STAR LINKS. Steve Donohoe's charge was held up from a high draw back at this track a week ago and never got involved. But he can adopt his preferred tactics of racing from just off the pace in this and gets the nod. He should get a good lead from Tepmokea, who looks likely to set the pace after making all to win in France last time, though Thatchmaster also led all the way when landing a maiden at Southwell. Tatting and Commissar arrive in good form but both will find life tougher upped in class.
