Verdict

A few of these have been getting closer having slipped down the weights. Travis County is one of those as he finished second in heavy ground at Redcar last month but stablemate PELMANISM is just preferred. The latter was only beaten a length over a shorter trip here last time and is now 12lb lower than his most recent win. Eastern Hills is another on the slide but his five victories on the all-weather have been at Southwell and the less-exposed Ifan was still beaten nine lengths despite finishing third over C&D last month. Three-time C&D winner Piccolo Express may figure if at his best.
