In depth

Verdict

Uncle Bernie bids for a hat-trick of course wins off a 10lb higher mark. But he's only won a couple of low grade handicaps and SAINT THOMAS has the stronger recent form. John Mackie's charge won at Carlisle before going close again at Pontefract off today's mark and can come out best. Aldo has not raced since scoring at this venue in 2012 and Lady Of Yue makes more appeal on her recent effort at Epsom. Kelamita only won a Class 6 event here last month and has been raised a further 3lb despite finishing six lengths behind the winner.
