      Verdict

      This looks really competitive. Blue Wave beat Echo Brava easily enough at Lingfield last month but has since fallen short off today's higher mark. Modernism could only manage fourth last week but got the better of Like A Diamond over a shorter distance here earlier and the latter has subsequently won over track and trip. Kashmir Peak never threatened despite finishing second over 2m at this track recently and had earlier fallen victim to MAGIKA over course and distance. Marco Botti's progressive filly is upped a further 6lb but may not have finished improving yet and is taken to go in again.
