Verdict

SUBTLE KNIFE continued her good progress with a cosy win at Kempton last month. She was held up on that occasion before coming wide with a winning run so a high draw today shouldn't be a problem and Giles Bravery's filly can follow up. C&D winner Supreme Spirit looks to be running into form but Methayel's previous victories have all been over a mile. Lady Layla has gone close on her last two starts over C&D and she's preferred to last month's Pontefract winner Alkadi of the remainder.
