Verdict

Crowning Star put an end to a frustrating run of placed efforts when scoring at Lingfield last month and should be thereabouts again. She's just preferred to Casa Bex, who is slipping down the weights, and makes more appeal than those having their first start of the year. Macy Anne went close over C&D in February and could figure on her handicap bow but EASTERN AMOUR also has plenty of scope and he's preferred. Marco Botti's charge gets first-time blinkers having disappointed here last time but finished third over track and trip to his more strongly fancied stablemate Rockgoat before that with a subsequent winner in second. He's taken to get off the mark here.
