Verdict

Frontier Fighter runs with a 6lb penalty for his recent Southwell victory though his young rider claims half of that back. He should go well but YOJOJO gets the vote. She landed a handicap here last March off 55 and is now 33lb higher thanks to several fine runs, including when landing a Class 2 handicap at Newmarket in October. But she last ran a fortnight ago in a Deauville Listed race and this is a huge drop in class. Dixie's Dream won a Kempton handicap in November but found stepping up in grade beyond him on a return visit. Silverware has won seven races but is 5lb higher than his latest and may struggle at the weights particularly as he was six lengths behind Star Links, who looks the main threat, here in November. Brigadoon completed a double on Turf in mid-summer then found 2m1f much too far at Doncaster while Lions Arch is lightly-raced and has plenty of scope to do better.
