Verdict

Poetic Power made a big improvement on his debut effort to finish third on soft ground at Nottingham last week. He should be in the shake-up here but one of the newcomers could prove good enough and AIRD SNOUT makes most appeal. He's a half-brother to three winners including the useful Arch Swing, who scored on her debut, and David Simcock's charge is preferred to Almuder and the Godolphin debutant Shihab. The rest are hard to fancy though Frederickthegreat and Flashman should finish closer than last time.
