Verdict

A tight handicap on paper with only a few pounds separating the field. But VIENNESE VERSE arrives in the best form having completed a double with a victory over track and trip last month. The runner-up has won subsequently and a hat-trick looks on the cards for Henry Candy's charge. Arcadian Legend has won here over 6f but is persevered with over longer trips trips despite finishing tailed off over a mile at Kempton last time while Glenridding went close in a higher grade race here on his latest start. Victorian Number is usually thereabouts but looks high enough in the weights
