In depth

Verdict

Luna Tacumana can make another successful raid at the expense of Everest, Bazelle, Lincolneurocruiser and Burnley Al. Irish trainer Jimmy Lambe is a familiar sight these days, mainly on the northern jumping circuit, but he has now begun to target the all-weather as well, and was successful just four days ago at Lingfield with Luna Tacumana who only had to be pushed out to secure that fillies' handicap. She has stayed over with this race in mind, and connections are confident that she can defy a penalty, so the hint should be taken. Everest has been a bit frustrating to follow and needs things to fall right for him, but if they do, he can be the one to give the selection most to do. Bazelle got up close home in a blanket finish here three weeks ago but will do well to repeat the feat off her new mark, while Lincolneurocruiser is not certain to get the trip. Burnley Al seems a bit in-and-out at present, but the first-time visor may help his cause, without him being good enough to cope with our idea of the winner, Luna Tacumana.
