NIGHTJAR is the suggestion to get the better of Wisdom's Kiss and Jawaab amongst others. Mark Johnston's colt has been a shade disappointing of late but he has been pretty highly tried since winning a modest Warwick maiden in July and could be worth another chance in this company. This is also his first start on the all-weather and it's a surface that should suit him down to the ground. His powerful, in-form yard has an excellent record here and he should be a backable price with Wisdom's Kiss likely to make the market. James Bethell's charge has been in fine fettle this season and he gave evidence over course and distance last time that his winning spree may not yet have finished. Jawaab has made a promising start for his new yard and showed that the polytrack has no fears for him when third at Great Leighs. He didn't enjoy the best of runs last time and looks capable of winning from his current mark but we'll take a chance that the switch to this surface can bring the best out of Nightjar.
