    Verdict

PICK A LITTLE can get the better of Mrs Nisbett and Russian Ice in a race that will take very little winning. Our selection has achieved the goal of victory once already having taken an admittedly weak maiden at Kempton. Still, that showed he's got the ability to get the job done and as it was on the Polytrack there are no real concerns about him acting here at Wolverhampton. The fact he was beaten last time is also overlooked as that race at Ascot was in a different league to this one and the drop in class can be rewarded. Mrs Nisbett represents a yard that do well here and must also be considered on just her third start. The filly was beaten a couple of lengths on her debut at Catterick but again this represents an easier assignement and Alan McCabe's charge could take second ahead of Russian Ice. The last named ran in a fair maiden on debut when expected to improve for the run and did just that when beaten under three lengths last time, but the form of that race has already taken a significant knock and he needs to step forward once more. Look'n'listen has the best of the draw and must be factored into the equation as her rider dropped his whip last time and that won't have helped but the feeling is she'd still have been beaten fair and square and we'll return therefore to the only previous winner in the race, Pick A Little.
