A wide-open handicap here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be J R Stevenson, Pharaoh Prince and Gentle Peace and the vote is given to J R Stevenson. The selection was a fair second behind Amwell Brave last time out, that form has since been franked and off the same mark and from a god draw he looks a value bet in an open affair. Pharaoh Prince rates the main danger as he won with a little in hand when beating Star Welcome last time out. Granted this looks tougher but he is progressive and he could easily defy the handicapper. Gentle Peace is another that could go well as he ran as if about to hit form when fourth behind Cockney Tail last time out. This longer trip is sure to suit and he will not be far away. Giunchiglio is from a yard in form and is on a handy mark but he has been done no favours by the draw. Of the remainder Galley Law looks sure to have the race run to suit and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to J R Stevenson who at least ran well last time out.
