In depth

Verdict

Jump Ship gets the narrow vote in a wide open handicap, Bienheureux and Musical Magic appear to be the main dangers. Marcus Tregoning's filly improved on her debut run to beat a modest field at at Lingfield. She won with plenty in hand and with more progression likely she looks the one to be on. Bienheureux is very conssitent in this type of company and went close again last time when chasing home Swords at Kempton, another big run can be expected. Musical Magic is from a top yard and has shown enough to warrant plenty of respect in this weak looking affair. The pick of the others could be Phoenix Hill, but Jump Ship has any amount of improvement to come and she gets our vote.
