Verdict

Cape Win, Cape Gold and Ruffie are three against the field in this claimer and the narrow vote is given to Cape Win. The selection was a fair third in similar grade behind Emotive last time out. That form has since been franked and off the same mark here he looks the value bet in an open affair. Cape Gold rates the main danger on his latest second behind Next Ness but all his best form has come on the turf and for that reason he is opposed. Ruffie was a fair second behind Oporto last time and is another with place claims but he looks to have plenty of weight. Bahhmirage is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with. Of the remainder Mon Petite Amour is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but his overall profile leaves him with a little to find and with this in mind for the winner we return Cape Win.
