Verdict

Recent renewals provide a good pointer as Belgian Bill was beaten only a head last year on his return from Meydan and Dunelight won this in 2010 having raced in Dubai beforehand. KENNY POWERS has been thereabouts in tough handicaps at Meydan of late and the course and distance winner can make the most of favourable terms and come out best today. Regal Parade is the only rival rated higher than the selection but he hasn't raced since November and the progressive Solar Deity looks a bigger threat. He arrives on the back of a victory at Lingfield where he beat Verse Of Love and Monsieur Chevalier. Capone and Docofthebay weren't good enough in last year's renewal and Light From Mars has plenty to find at the weights if he's to record a hat-trick, as does Kickingthelilly.
