In depth

Verdict

Blitzen, Rub Of The Relic and World View appear the trio to concentrate upon and we give a final chance to Blitzen to deliver the goods. The selection has been well punted on two starts thus far and while there have been apparent excuses on account of greenness, there have been two sighters and there can be no excuses now. Rub Of The Relic has had plenty of opportunities. He rates the benchmark for the handicapper. World View is related to useful sprinter, Greek Renaissance. The market should tell us all we need to know. Dharori was fairly weak in the market on introduction at Haydock. He can be forgiven a modest run on the soft going and can be anticipated to have learnt plenty. Shakespeare's Son and Spinning Ridge look fully exposed whilst Laureldean Breeze missed the break badly at Pontefract and could be much better than the bare form suggests. Blitzen has burnt the fingers of his backers twice and is offered a final chance of redemption this afternoon.
