Verdict

Dew Reward has won similar events on the Polytrack at Lingfield and at Windsor recently and comes out best at the weights. He should make a bold bid, but STAND GUARD is the more consistent of the pair. He has a bit to find with the former on official figures but has won three of his last four starts in plating company, including C&D victory in May, and Noel Quinlan's charge is worth sticking with here. Colonel Sherman scored here last month but has to give away 13lb to the selection, while the remainder are also up against it on today's terms.
