    Verdict

WAVING popped across the Irish Sea to record a fifth consecutive win with a victory at Dundalk last week. He still looks ahead of the handicapper and apprentice Joey Haynes negates most of today's 6lb penalty. Tony Carroll's charge is the one to beat again. Estemaala opened her account when stepped up to 2m at Thirsk but that was back in June and she hasn't raced since. Knightly Escapade won an all-weather bumper at Kempton last month and arrives in good heart while collateral form over 1m6f here gives Stormy Morning the beating of Blazing Desert.
