In depth

Verdict

All of these won as two-year-olds and Archie Stevens has gone on to win a couple of handicaps since. He was engaged to run at Lingfield yesterday, however, while Midnight Dream finished last on his handicap debut and Boxing Shadows beat a much lower rated rival in a match at this track last time. Equitania landed the odds in good style at Kempton but is upped 8lb for this so Fortinbrass makes more appeal after a head defeat at Lingfield last week. RENE MATHIS has only won a maiden over C&D but did so in good style and, as the least exposed in the field, he's fancied to improve past these and go in again.
