Verdict

There is no obvious pacemaker here, but SPECTAIT might actually be able to set the gallop and still hold them all off to complete a hat-trick. Back-to-back wins over a furlong shorter here are evidence enough that Jonjo O'Neill's gelding is back to form. Raised 3lb for his latest success, he looks capable of finding enough to win, especially over this trip. Dream Of Fortune is up 4lbs for winning here last time and he is in good, consistent form. He is 5lbs better off with Spectait for being beaten two-and-a-half lengths here when they last met and has an opportunity to bridge that gap tonight. Pevensey needs further than this to be at his best, but Tourist can probably find some improvement now tried over this far for the first time. Capable Guest would have a chance at his best but looks badly out of sorts at present and we prefer the claims of Spectait.
