Verdict

LAURA LAND's recent improved efforts may have been in amateur races but a penalty for her recent win here is reduced by her apprentice rider's claim. Mark Brisbourne's mare looks capable of following-up in this company. Broughtons Paradis has yet to build on last summer's placed form at Newmarket and she was far from convincing when a well beaten second over C&D last month, but Our Kes is holding his form well and made the frame again here a fortnight ago. Little Richard finished just in front of the latter last time and makes most appeal of the remainder.
