In depth

Verdict

Buscador, Majehar and Tuscan Treaty are three against the field in this competitive handicap and the vote is given to Buscador. The selection was a fair third behind Latif last time out, that form has since been franked and off the same mark here he will be hard to beat. Majehar rates the main danger on his latest third behind Pauline's Prince especially as this longer trip looks sure to suit and he should be noted in the market. Tuscan Treaty is another that could go well on his latest third behind Reolve but he is becoming hard to win with and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Crusoe won well last time but he has never won over a trip this far before and he is passed over for that reason. Of the remainder Scotty's Future is well weighted on his best form and ran as if about to hit form when third behind Milk And Sultana last time so should be noted in the market but in a trappy affair for the winner we return to Buscador.
