New England gets the call here ahead of maybe Junebug Symphony and Wilford Maverick. New England showed improved form to beat a well-fancied runner last time and, clearly improving, can go well. Blushing Russian's form is ok but he is maybe better at a shorter trip, while Junebug Symphony holds claims on the best of his Irish form, even more so with Legacy, although you have to go back to 2003 to find it from him. Kumakawa likes it at Southwell. Finally, Wilford Maverick's best recent piece of form has come here, so he gets the maybe tag,but this trip will have to bring improvement from Musiotal, and Spy Gun was just behind him last time.
