Verdict

Stepping up to a mile seemed to suit Quaintrelle at Kempton last time and a return to 7f here is a worry for Ed Vaughan's filly. We'll take her on with YARD OF ALE, only beaten a length over course and distance in October and second again over this trip at Southwell last time. Llandanwg has been placed twice on Turf this year but has a mountain to climb against the likely market principals on official ratings. The Fenland Man should handle the surface but the market will probably tell us what's expected on his belated debut.
