This is a pretty good claimer to greet the new - and very welcome - Polytrack surface at Wolverhampton, and it can go to Tre Colline ahead of Dvinsky, Morse and Hurricane Floyd. What the selection has in his favour is that he can be given a chance based on ratings, has winning form on the Polytrack surface and is a course and distance winner. Ok, he might not be the best drawn, but he can still go well. Mallard was a good fourth behind subsequent winner Idle Power at Lingfield last time, and has place claims, while Linning Wine is the best-rated in the contest but, with winning form over a mile-and-a-half, he will surely find himself getting done for toe. Ile Michel might also be better over further but the three-year-olds, Morse and Dvinsky, come firmly into the reckoning. The former has won recently so comes here in good heart - and has form on Polytrack - while Dvinsky, although a little disappointing this season, has the physique to do better and faces possibly his easiest task since winning as a two-year-old. Hurricane Floyd also has to be given a chance even though he doesn't win too often as he has run well in better contests. That said, this is not a bad race for a claimer and, overall, the vote goes to Tre Colline.
