Verdict

A poor numerical turnout for a first prize of almost £12,000, though it's still an interesting race. Graphic has won twice on Polytrack but has done better on Turf where his six victories includes a Group 3 in France last summer. CHOOKIE ROYALE loved the Polytrack surface here and counted the Listed Lady Wulfruna Stakes amongst his victories in March. A recent run will have put him spot-on and he gets the vote. Diescentric is useful at his best and won two tough handicaps in June but he hasn't been seen since the following month. Emell has finished runner-up in five Listed races and a Group 2 but hasn't been in the best of form this winter while Group 2 winner Miracle Of Medinah disappointed last summer. Solar Deity has a very good record on Polytrack around here but hasn't quite gone as well on Tapeta and was beaten when odds-on for a three-horse race last month.
