Verdict

Winning bumper Fair Loch showed a bit of promise over timber but was last seen falling on his chasing debut at Kempton in November. Certification, a winning hurdler for John Ferguson, ran poorly on his return to timber after a long break at Musselburgh last month while Claraty has only beaten one home in her three starts under both codes. Taweyla has attempted to make all in her two all-weather runs and only faded in the closing stages so she will make a bold bid though the vote in a poor maiden goes to BROUGHTONS BERRY, who made a promising debut at Southwell a month ago before running well for a long way behind the long odds-on Zamoura at Chelmsford.
