In depth

Verdict

Lucksin gets the call, with Rivetting, Paddy Moon, Shunkawakhan and Fortress rating, for us, the best of the rest. Lucksin holds a good chance of getting his head in front, with recent Turf runs behind the likes of Guto and High Curragh looking more than good enough to make him a leading player as he debuts on the all-weather. Paddy Moon is a likely type on breeding and is respected, as is the Sir Mark Prescott-trained Rivetting, who could have inherited either speed or stamina - or both - from his parents. Time will tell. Guilded Warrior showed some promise on his Lingfield debut, while Shunkawakhan's second to Maggie Minx on his debut brings him firmly into things. Brian Meehan's Anemone has also shown enough to be considered and, finally, Fortress, who hails from an in-form yard, would not have to improve too much to get into the picture but, overall, we will stick with Lucksin.
