Verdict

Cardinal should go well again, despite a penalty, as he beat Desert Strike, Shawkantango and Crimson Queen when scoring over track and trip last month. M J Woodward is another recent course and distance winner but in lesser company than this while Lucky Dan's course win in October came over 7f. SOLE DANSER has been competing in higher grade handicaps of late and went close behind Seek The Fair Land here three weeks ago. Today's drop back to the minimum trip is no problem and Milton Bradley's charge can return to winning ways.
